Radio Executives Gather to Discuss the Future of Radio

Earlier this spring, the Radio Heard Here campaign held a creative summit in New York that included more than a dozen creative directors from the nation's top advertising firms. The summit included a roundtable discussion of radio creative efforts moderated by the Radio Heard Here team, the latest facts about the current state of the industry and a discussion of radio technology, formats, concurrent media consumption and creative inspiration.

The discussion was positive and insightful, with a tremendous amount of praise for the value and creativity of radio. One particular advertising agency found so much value in the event that they decided to host their own radio creative summit.

The Martin Agency, based in Richmond, Virginia with major clients such as Wal-Mart and Geico, hosted a Richmond-based radio creative summit last week. The event, attended by over 60 people, served as a fun, creative and powerful way to bring innovation and acceleration to radio creative and was chronicled in this Richmond Times Dispatch article.
